BEAUTYBEEZ Turns One!: Anniversary Reflection

Celebrating our one year anniversary from the desk of Jessica, BEAUTYBEEZ Vice President of Operations.

"Wow. What a year! I remember having my initial call with Britt, I was heading into my “hold me over” job while in beauty school, a waitressing/bar tendering job, and I specifically remember Britt saying before we ended the call “I know this isn’t what you’re moving back for, but who knows…this could be good for your new career as an esthetician too!” I honestly had no idea what I was signing up for, but looking back at this year, I don’t regret that decision one bit! BEAUTYBEEZ has allowed me to be apart of something so great. When l look at how far we have come, getting to this day is truly an honor.

Over the past year, I’ve experienced days when I felt I was not exceeding in my role, so I continued to find ways to be better. I often tell customers when we have conversations in the store that we have to listen when our hair or skin are telling us what they need to grow and thrive. Well, I also had to listen to what my position with BEAUTYBEEZ was telling me it needed to continue evolving. I have grown in the past year, not only as VP of Operations but as a black woman. I have been front and center to watch this process unfold and it has empowered me to remember that whatever I put my mind to, I can achieve with a lot of hard work and dedication not to mention a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night! Each day, I can only become better than who I was the day before. I am so grateful to work for a brand that allows me to be the greatest version of myself each day.

To my BEAUTYBEEZ family:

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication that you have put forth over the past year. It has truly been an honor to watch each of us grow and make our brand what we want it to be. I pray that we continue to have much success in the years to come!

Love,

Jessica
